Brandon Zelman, DO
is our Chief resident. A Chicagoland native from Buffalo Grove, IL in his third year of residency. He comes to us from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and is interested in dermatopathology. He is active in pathology and is a resident board member for the Illinois Society of Pathologists. Brandon will be completing Dermatopathology fellowship at Loyola University Health System in 2023-2024
Outside of pathology Brandon loves to cook, bake, and play with his Siberian Husky. He is an avid sports fan and loves the White Sox. His favorite movie is a classic: Forrest Gump, and his favorite tv shows are The Office, Parks and Recreation, and Game of Thrones.
On why he chose Loyola: “I immediately felt at home after meeting the residents and attendings; and loved that everyone was extremely warm and friendly.”
