Special Commendation for Outstanding Pathology Endeavors

The SCOPE Award, established 2021, honors a medical student from Stritch School of Medicine for outstanding contributions to the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, or the field of pathology overall. The endeavours that qualify as recognition may be in the form of pathology pipeline events, advocacy for the profession, pathology-related research, publications, promotion of education, or a combination of above.

Eligibility:

SSOM students in any year of training (M1-M4) are eligible. A candidate may only receive this award 1 time during 4 years of training. An M2 may receive this reward concurrent to being honored in the ceremony for 'MHD honors'
