Natasha McFarlane, MD

Natasha was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, though her roots run more tropical, as her parents came to the US from Jamaica. Natasha is proud to be a first-generation physician in her family. After gaining a degree in Spanish for the Health Professions at Marquette University, she completed medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Natasha has not sharpened her focus on a particular subspecialty, but she is excited to continue expanding her knowledge in the various areas of pathology.

Other than being a budding pathologist, she is a proud Capricorn and lover of poetry, calligraphy, and black clothing. In her spare time, you can find her playing basketball, kickboxing, or enjoying authentic Jamaican cuisine.

If she had to pick one word to explain why she chose Loyola, it would be “vibes”. On her interview day, the energy coming from both program leadership and residents gave her confidence that her training would be nurtured in a warm, welcoming environment
